EST535 - Society and Education
Preservice teachers will critically engage sociological perspectives on diversity, inclusion and social justice in education. Preservice teachers will examine a range of theoretical perspectives and practices around inclusion and disadvantaged children in education settings. They will explore the relationship between contexts, communities and inclusion and develop a standpoint on inclusion that is informed by a critical analysis of literature and practice.
