HEA527 - Research Skills for Health Professionals
This unit provides students with foundation for health research that can be applied to various practical research applications across multiple disciplines. Through a systematic approach, students will be proficient in formulating research questions, critically evaluating literature, and effectively executing literature reviews. The unit covers quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method research methodologies, emphasising their optimal applications. Students will study the principles of research ethics and the application of these in research practice. Students will demonstrate skills in communicating research plans and results to varied audiences using different communication techniques.
