With a particular focus on complex families and their needs, you will explore the psychological and social conditions that impact on children's health and wellbeing. Topics include child protection; domestic violence, substance use, infant attachment, psychological and social influences on infant and child development. You will develop skills and knowledge to support families struggling to parent. You will be required to identify appropriate referral agencies and collaborate with these agencies and their professionals in client centred case management.
