HIT326 - Database-Driven Web Applications
Modern websites incorporate databases to enable dynamic interaction between information and people. In this unit students learn how to create database-driven websites with an emphasis on server side scripting and interaction techniques. Security, legal and privacy considerations are covered. Prior knowledge of database and web technologies is needed for this unit. This unit combines the necessary knowledge from both areas to enable students to develop applications to meet the demands of current IT industry.
This unit is reliant on on-line materials. Students must have access to a reliable high-speed broadband connection.
