HSC205 Health Care Policy

The aim of this core unit is to examine the implementation and evaluation of key evidence based health care policies in Australia with a specific focus on Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspectives. There will also be an analysis of the ways that policies impact on health service delivery to bring about change in health outcomes. Particular attention will be paid to policies with a health promotion focus in Indigenous communities, for example Tobacco Control or Food Security.
