LWZ112 Comparative Legal Systems

This unit introduces students to a number of the world's legal traditions in order to take a comparative approach to the study of law. The Australian and English legal systems will be located within the Western legal tradition. Other legal traditions considered may include Islamic law, Asian legal systems and Aboriginal law. The focus of the unit will be the comparison of broad themes across the various legal systems.
