This unit provides students with an integrated understanding of the role of equity in the law covering all of the features of equity implicit in the legal profession's Priestly 11 requirements. Topics examined include:

• The History and Nature of Equity;
• Equitable Rights, Titles and Interests;
• Equitable Assignments;
• Equitable Estoppel;
• Fiduciary Obligations;
• Unconscientious Conduct;
• Injunctions and Specific Performance;
• Other Equitable Remedies and Defences;

This unit will include a comparative transnational and/or international element, where appropriate.
