LWZ212 Transnational Law

This unit addresses the need for law graduates to have experience in, and be comfortable dealing with, legal problems that cross national boundaries, legal systems and legal cultures. The unit will cover, at a minimum, the following topics:
    • Transnational legal theory;
    • Methodology of comparative law;
    • International dispute settlement;
    • Extraterritorial application of domestic law; and
    • The interaction of domestic law and public international law.
