MID204 Professional Midwifery Practice 2

Co requisite unit to MID203 Healthy Childbearing 2. With the emphasis on the link between knowledge and practice the practical aspects of the theory being learned in MID203 are explored and experienced in the midwifery practice areas. Areas include birthing care and care of the mother and baby in the transition period of 2-4 hours following birth and management of some midwifery emergencies.
