MID306 Professional Midwifery Practice 4
Co requisite unit to MID305, reflective and ethical principles guide this unit. Students will be encouraged to reflect on their practice and the ethical issues that may arise as they apply the theory being learned in MID305. Through clinical lab sessions and clinical practicum they will learn to manage midwifery emergencies, care for women with complex pregnancies including pregnancy loss and termination. A 6 week practicum is part of this unit which is linked to the Midwifery Practice Portfolio.
