NUR231 Challenge and Response to Body Integrity 1

NUR231 Challenge and Response to Body Integrity 1 provides, in a Primary Health Care context, knowledge of the fundamental science concepts relevant to the normal and abnormal functioning of the integumentary, muscular, respiratory and neurological systems. Common pathological processes which occur in these systems will be studied and students will obtain a foundation knowledge of microbiology and infection control. The pharmacodynamics and pharmokinetics used in diseases of these systems will be explored.
