NUR241 Challenge and Response to Body Integrity 2

NUR241 Challenge and Response to Body Integrity 2 provides, in a Primary Health Care context, knowledge of the fundamental science concepts relevant to the normal and abnormal functioning of the renal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, haematological, endocrine, sensory and reproductive body systems. Common pathological processes which occur in these systems will be studied. Students explore the pharmacodynamics and pharmokinetics used in diseases of these systems and apply foundation knowledge of microbiology and infective disease processes to selected illnesses.
