NUR530 - Science for Nursing Practice

In this unit, students will develop knowledge of anatomy and examine healthy physiological function of the human body across the lifespan. This unit explores the fundamental science of nursing required to maintain health and wellbeing including nutrition, mobility, hygiene, infection control, sleep, stress, sexuality and independence. Students will further develop the knowledge and skills to perform comprehensive and focused health assessments using both physical and psycho-social determinants of health and wellbeing
