NUR553 - Anaesthetics and Recovery Nursing 2
This unit continues to build upon knowledge gained in NUR552, continuing to build knowledge that supports patient safety and person-centred care by the anaesthetic and recovery nurse. The unit will examine best practice in patient management in the anaesthetic and recovery room environment and the transition of the patient to the discharge setting. Students will engage with evidence-based practice and research as they critique their role in managing complex and emergency situations faced by the anaesthetic and recovery nurse. Â
