NUR614 - Nurse Practitioner Integrated Professional Practice 2

This unit is a capstone unit where students are required to show their ability to function as a novice nurse practitioner while under supervision by their clinical support team. Students are expected to exhibit autonomy and expert judgement along with professional accountability and responsibility during their practice. An ability to adapt to familiar as well as complex, unstable and unfamiliar health situations will be evident. Students will demonstrate practice in line with relevant professional standards, policies and legislation while critically evaluating research findings and integrating these into their expanded practice role. This unit requires 130 hours of supernumerary integrated professional practice.

This unit is only available to students enrolled in the Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) SNNP01.
