NUT505 - Public Health Nutrition
Public Health Nutrition provides students with an overview of the key concepts, principles and theories underpinning public health approaches to improving health and reducing diet-related disease at the community and population level. Students will develop their skills in planning, implementing and evaluating public health nutrition initiatives. A critical appreciation of food policy-making, and the role of food and nutrition policy in shaping food systems and protecting and promoting public health will be developed.
