PRT563 Advanced Data Management
This unit covers the application of Big Data tools and technologies. It establishes a strong working knowledge of the concepts, techniques and products. The main focus is on the graph data, tree-structured extensible markup language, data, key-value pair and nested pairs, semi-structured Java Script Object Notation data, columnar and record-oriented data as well as object-oriented data. The fragmentation, replication and consistency strategies for data management in distributed databases will also be covered. Students must have access to a reliable high-speed broadband connection.
