One of the two introductory units in Psychology which together provide a general introduction to the principles, methods and research findings in psychology. This unit will cover the biological processes underlying behaviour, sensation and perception, consciousness, intelligence, abnormal behaviour and psychotherapies. Methods of research in psychology will also be emphasised.
