In this unit students undertake a work integrated learning placement in the Wellness Centre at CDU. This is the students first placement and will a focus on the professional skills of cognitive assessment across the lifespan. Students will undertake a minimum of 150 hours professional practice including a minimum of 65 hours of direct client contact to develop competent professional skills in the provision of clinical psychological assessment. Students will also participate in a series of clinical orientation and practice workshops intended to support them for this initial placement and clinical work.
