This unit will provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to practice as a clinical psychologist. The advanced application of inclusive and culturally responsive assessment and treatment of psychological disorders will be explored across the lifespan. Working from a scientist-practitioner model, students will develop competencies related to the synthesis of behavioural, psychometric, and clinical interview data to inform case formulation, diagnosis and intervention.
Students will attend 6 day-long (6 hours) workshops during the semester.
