PTY311 - Fundamentals of Physiotherapy Practice
This unit provides students with the opportunity to gain insight into the physiotherapy profession and the role of the contemporary physiotherapist within the health care settings. Students will learn the skills for culturally responsive practice and interprofessional practice within a multidisciplinary team. Students will learn about their professional presentation and behaviour, use of informed consent and confidentiality in practice, respecting client's rights through self-determination, the use of reflection, constructive professional feedback, professional resilience and self-assessment skills.
