PTY512 - Physiotherapy Practice 1 (Acute)
This unit will assist students to apply knowledge about the human body and the different contexts to understand physiotherapy practice across the lifespan in the acute setting. Students will apply theories, models and professional reasoning in common cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic, neurological and gerontological conditions. In doing so, they will understand pain science and management in the acute setting and will develop skills in analysis, measurement, communication and manual handling which they will implement during practical education.
