SPE120 - Essentials in Health and Fitness
This unit provides students with theoretical knowledge and technical skills to assess physical fitness and physical capacity of a broad range of healthy individuals, prescribe and deliver healthy eating plans and exercise programs to improve wellbeing, health and performance. This unit provides a foundation for personal training and students will develop skills to provide interventions to individuals and groups to achieve their health and fitness goals. In addition, students would develop a broad range of communicative skills enabling students to communicate effectively with health professionals and clientele.
