This unit provides students with the knowledge for selecting appropriate tests to assess athletes at a variety of levels and in specific sports. The selection of these tests will be based on students understanding of reliability, validity, and physiological factors that could affect athletes' performance. Students will compare the collected data with norms and determine interventions required to manage athletes' overall health and enhance athletic performance. Students are advised to attend the laboratory sessions that are designed to enhance learning and develop laboratory skills.
