ENG377 - Electromagnetics and Communication Technology
The unit provides an understanding of the concepts of electromagnetism and communication technology. It covers Maxwell's equations, electromagnetic wave propagation in wave guides, transmission lines, and antenna and array systems. It also covers components and system parameters of transmitter and receiver systems. Students will learn various analogue signal modulation formats, which have applications in analogue communication systems.
