PSY523 - Clinical Placement 1A
In this unit, students undertake a work-integrated learning placement in the Wellness Centre at CDU. This is the student's first placement and will focus on the professional skills of cognitive assessment across the lifespan. Students will undertake a minimum of 150 hours of professional practice, including a minimum of 65 hours of direct client contact, to develop competent professional skills in the provision of clinical psychological assessment. Students will also participate in a series of clinical orientation and practice workshops intended to support them for this initial placement and clinical work.
